The Cotswolds are known as a place to escape, slow down, and recharge, whatever the season. Whether you're seeking a boost of energy in the darker months, a mindful pause in spring, or a summer retreat surrounded by nature, the region offers the perfect backdrop for rest and rejuvenation. Here are some of our favourite yoga and wellness retreats in the Cotswolds, along with upcoming events to help you reconnect and restore throughout the year.
Bobble Yoga is yoga without the fancy pants and we love this premise! Founder Adri is based in The Cotswolds and holds regular “pay what you can” virtual yoga classes and private sessions. However she also runs really special yoga retreats.
With smaller numbers so you don’t feel lost in a crowd, extremely comfortable en-suite bedrooms and remote countryside settings, it’s a perfect chance to getaway and relax ahead of the festive busyness!
Notgrove Holidays are well known for their luxury family safari tents and glamping experiences in The Cotswolds all-year round. However they also run special activities and retreats and we really love their regular yoga retreats and wellbeing holidays.
The retreats are designed to revitalise your spirit and restore balance to the mind and body. Set in Notgrove Holidays’ idyllic 1,500 acre private estate where you’ll stay in glamping pods, it’s the perfect place to reflect and unwind.
The next retreat is planned for autumn, 10th to 12th October 2025 with Sadie Brewin, including: seasonal yoga, vision board workshop, chakra yoga session & yoga nidra, Gua Sha stone workshop, pranayama and guided meditation, nourishing local food and shinrin yoku – forest bathing (weather permitting).
Five Peaks Yoga studio is a new retreat venue set in the historic market town of Dursley. Offering yoga breaks as well as scheduled classes if you’d like to book in a session while you’re on holiday in The Cotswolds, their studio is simply stunning and one of the most picturesque in The Cotswolds. Nestled in an elevated position among the hills, you can enjoy panoramic views over the surrounding countryside.
Their yoga weekends are a time to unwind but also a way to help introduce you to ways you can incorporate yoga, meditation and wellbeing practices into everyday life. From yoga and meditation classes to catered food from a local chef and daily hikes across the surrounding hills, there’s no better way to relax and rejuvenate.
Awarded Gloucestershire’s Best Yoga Teacher, Jay specialises in 1-2-1 private yoga, events and retreats in UK and abroad.
With a belief that everyone can benefit from taking a little bit of time out of their busy schedule to nourish themselves - to enjoy a moment of stillness that lifts you out of your hectic life, Jay has a couple of upcoming retreats for the end of the year to help you do just that.
If you’re looking for an autumnal retreat, then The Yoga Glow’s retreat to the beautiful Court Farm in Somerset promises a restorative weekend of yoga, nature, and nourishing food. Surrounded by 10 acres of stunning countryside, this intimate retreat (limited to just 10 guests) offers luxury accommodation in beautifully refurbished en-suite rooms.
Open to all levels, the retreat includes twice-daily yoga (flow, yin, nidra, and myofascial release), guided meditation, and time to truly unwind. Enjoy delicious plant-based meals prepared by UpRaw Food’s Nafia, and join a special nutrition workshop with Sarah from The Nourished Pathway.
Wellness and beauty enthusiasts have probably already heard of Bamford’s products and wellness spa. On top of an unrivalled spa experience, they also offer daily restorative and outdoor classes including yoga, pilates, sound healing, meditation and gong therapy if you’d like to plan in some mindfulness to a holiday in The Cotswolds.
